Our Story
Wonderland started from a simple observation: property management hasn't fundamentally changed in decades, despite massive technological advances in every other industry.
Our founder, Alvin Sax, saw this firsthand growing up in a motel. His parents immigrated to the US and began building a new life through property management — first with motel rooms then apartments. For decades, they managed every property manually — doing all the maintenance themselves, using handwritten ledgers for bookkeeping, and collecting rent door to door.
In an effort to make their lives easier, Sax assembled a team of engineers and property management veterans to enable his parents to do what they loved most — building relationships with their tenants without the stress of logistics. That's when Wonderland was born.
